With a smaller diameter than P945 (32mm), the Z53 offers higher agility and precise control where thinner material stacks and tighter cutting paths are required.

Engineered for use with Driven Rotary Tool (DRT) and Power Rotary Tool (PRT) modules, the Sollex Z53 provides a smooth, continuous cutting action with a maximum cutting depth of 2 to 3 mm. The robust carbide construction ensures long tool life, even when cutting abrasive fibers and technical fabrics, while maintaining clean edges and consistent results in industrial production environments.

The Z53 circular knife is suitable for composite textiles and advanced materials, including woven aramid fibers such as DuPont® Kevlar® and Twaron®, carbon fiber and woven carbon hybrid fabrics, fiberglass and glass fiber materials, as well as felt, non-woven materials, paper, leather, and nylon fabrics. Its circular geometry makes it particularly effective for rotary cutting applications where material stability and edge quality are critical.
