Sollex P945 is a rounded circular knife developed for CNC digital cutting machines equipped with rotary cutting modules such as DRT and PRT. Unlike decagonal knives, P945 features a fully rounded cutting geometry, providing a smoother and more continuous cutting action in demanding textile and composite applications. The knife is closely comparable to Z52 and Z53 types, with performance characteristics similar to Z53, but with a larger outer diameter of 32mm.

Manufactured by Sollex, the P945 circular blade is engineered for extreme durability and consistent edge performance in abrasive and fiber-rich materials. With a maximum cutting depth of 7 mm and a precisely ground cutting edge, the blade delivers clean, controlled cuts while maintaining long service life in industrial production environments.

The Sollex P945 is suitable for cutting composite textiles and technical fabrics, including woven aramid fibers such as DuPont® Kevlar® and Twaron®, carbon fiber and woven carbon hybrid fabrics, fiberglass and glass fiber materials, as well as felt, non-woven materials, paper, leather, and nylon fabrics. Its rounded geometry makes it particularly effective where stable rotary cutting and reduced material stress are required.

In terms of dimensions, the blade has an outer diameter of 32 mm, a center hole of 8 mm, a thickness of 0.63 mm, and supports a maximum cutting depth of 7 mm.
