Blades for Lung Meng Blown Film Extrusion Machines

Sollex supplies razor blades and slitting solutions for Lung Meng blown film machines, helping manufacturers cut HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, PE and PA films with cleaner edges, stable performance and reliable finished product quality.

Sollex Blades for Lung Meng Machines from Taiwan

Sollex supplies razor blades for blown film extrusion machines. Our blades are designed to help plastic film manufacturers achieve consistent slitting performance and high-quality finished products.

Recently, we have spent time reviewing several well-known machine manufacturers from Taiwan. These include Lung Meng, Diing Kuen Plastic Machinery, and Matila Industrial Co. All three companies manufacture equipment for plastic extrusion, recycling, and printing applications.

Their machine ranges cover many common plastic materials, including:

  • HDPE
  • LDPE
  • LLDPE
  • PP
  • PE
  • PA

Sollex offers a wide range of blades in different materials and designs that can be used for slitting these materials in machines from Lung Meng, Diing Kuen, and Matila.

If you need support finding a suitable slitting solution for your application, our team is happy to help.

Blades for HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP, PE and PA Film Production

Lung Meng, also known as Dragon Plastic Machinery, is a Taiwanese manufacturer founded in 1976. The company is known for its "All In Line System," which allows blown film extrusion, printing, and bag-making processes to work together in one production flow. Lung Meng offers a very wide range of equipment, from small laboratory extruders to large multi-layer blown film extrusion lines with widths up to six meters. The company also manufactures zipper profile extruders and recycling equipment with water-cooled die face cutting systems.

For printing applications, Lung Meng offers everything from simple single-color flexographic printing presses to advanced high-speed eight-color central impression printing machines.

No matter how advanced the production equipment is, the slitting process remains important. A production line can only perform at its best when the slitting component is suitable for the material being processed.

Because Lung Meng machines are used with many different materials and production setups, the slitting requirements can vary from one application to another.

High-Speed Blown Film Machines

Lung Meng Models

AB-25MI, AH-40MI, AH-40T, EB45T, EB55T, EB65T, AH-45T, AH-55T, AH-65T, AH-75T, AB-90T, AB-100T, AB-120T and AB-150T.

Materials

  • HDPE
  • LDPE
  • LLDPE

Film Thickness

  • HDPE: 0.008–0.07 mm
  • LDPE: 0.012–0.20 mm

For these applications, many customers start with low-friction blade solutions. For films containing additives, such as white pigments, other blade materials may also be suitable depending on production conditions.

Blown Film Machines with Oscillating Haul-Off Units

Lung Meng Models

RH-55T, RH-65T and RH-75T

Materials

  • HDPE
  • LDPE

Film Thickness

  • HDPE: 0.008–0.07 mm
  • LDPE: 0.012–0.20 mm

These applications often require stable slitting performance and good blade durability. The optimal solution depends on production speed, film structure, and material composition.

High-Speed Stretch Blown Film Machines with PIB Systems

Lung Meng Models

AH-45SC (PIB), AH-55SC (PIB) and AH-75SC (PIB)

Materials

  • LDPE
  • LLDPE + PIB

Film Thickness

  • LDPE: 0.012–0.25 mm

Stretch film production can place high demands on slitting performance due to the tacky properties of PIB-containing materials.

High-Speed Twin Die Blown Film Machines

Lung Meng Models

AH-45TD, AH-55TD and AH-65TD

Materials

  • HDPE
  • LDPE
  • LLDPE

Film Thickness

  • HDPE: 0.008–0.07 mm

These production lines are designed for higher output levels and may require slitting solutions with a balance of sharpness, durability, and consistent performance.

High-Speed Two-Color Blown Film Machines

Lung Meng Models

AH-45DH and AH-55DH

Materials

  • HDPE
  • HMHDPE
  • LDPE
  • LLDPE

Film Thickness

  • HDPE: 0.008–0.07 mm
  • LDPE: 0.01–0.20 mm

Different material combinations and production conditions can influence which blade solution performs best.

High-Speed PP Blown Film Machines

Lung Meng Models

AP-45, AP-55, AP-65 and AP-75

Material

  • PP

Film Thickness

  • PP: 0.02–0.08 mm

PP film can behave differently from polyethylene materials, especially when additives such as calcium carbonate are used. Blade performance can vary depending on the formulation and production setup.

High-Speed Multi-Layer Blown Film Machines

Lung Meng Models

RH-40/40/40TT, RH-45/45/45TT, RH-45/65/45TT, RH-55/55/55TT, RH-55/65/55TT, RH-65/65/65TT, RH-65/90/65TT and RH-55/25/42/25/55TT.

Materials

  • PE materials
  • PP
  • Recycled materials

Film Thickness

  • LDPE: 0.02–0.20 mm

Multi-layer films often require reliable and consistent slitting performance because several materials may be combined into one film structure.

Blades for Lung Meng Printing Machines

Lung Meng also manufactures several types of printing presses, including high-speed central impression presses and stack-type flexographic printing machines. In the printing equipment we reviewed, we did not identify any specific blade applications. However, if your printing process requires a slitting solution, Sollex is happy to discuss your requirements.

Why Different Blade Types Are Used for Different Slitting Applications

Not all plastic films behave the same during slitting. Film thickness, production speed, additives, and material properties can all affect slitting performance.

For example, films containing additives such as white pigments or calcium carbonate can create more wear on the blade edge. In these applications, manufacturers often look for blade materials that provide longer service life and improved wear resistance.

Some films are very soft and flexible, while others are tougher or more abrasive. Because of these differences, one blade solution may perform well in one production process but not in another.

High-speed production lines often benefit from low-friction blade designs that help reduce heat and resistance during slitting. In applications with more demanding materials, manufacturers may choose blade materials that offer greater durability and edge retention.

Selecting the right blade for the material and production conditions can help improve slit quality, reduce downtime, and support more efficient production.
